The international Cameroonian footballer of the VfL Bochum recovered his place in the 11 matches of the formation of Marcel Koller. Back from the CAN, Joël Epalle had changed statutes, from a lead player to a simple substitute, contrary to all expectations. Even though his team tilted (0-2) against Bielefeld, his output was the one that allowed him to distinguish himself since his arrival in Bundesliga.
